JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The North Florida baseball team fell to No. 1 Florida, 4-0, on Tuesday night at Harmon Stadium in the first game of a home-and-home series.
LEADING OFF
- Raff Libunao and Wesley Weeks both extended their reached base streak to eight and lead the team.
- Weeks also has a hit in every game this season.
- Mac Wilson led the team going 2-for-3 on the night.
- Florida scored one run in each of the fifth, sixth, seventh and eighth innings.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Blake Reese grounded out to second base but drove in Keenan Bell for the first run on the game.
- The next inning, JJ Schwarz doubled to right center that scored Wil Dalton to extend the Florida lead.
- In the seventh, Nick Horvath plated Austin Langworthy on a sacrifice fly to left field.
- The last run of the game happened when Bell reached on a fielder's choice, but scored Schwarz in the process.
