SAY WHAT
"I am so incredibly proud of this team. They played their hearts out and left everything they had on the field. Syd was lights out on the mound and our defense played great behind her. To be able to come into an environment like this and beat a nationally-ranked opponent is not easy and we played them with a lot of confidence. That was such an exciting game and really showed what this team is capable of."
- Head Coach Marcie Higgs

- In the seventh, Ashley Niesman stroked a single to left field to put a runner on for Rindy Bryant.

- Matzko (4-4) sat the final batters down in order. She finished with four hits and no walks, while striking out five in her sixth complete game of the year.
