- Extend the Osprey home win streak at UNF Arena to five games, dating back to last season
Last Time Out
North Florida connected on a season-high 11 treys, but needed one more as the Ospreys fell 61-69 in a back and forth battle at Colorado State in Fort Collins, Colo. last Sunday.
Arianna Emanuel-Wright led UNF with 16 points and eight rebounds while
Dasha Eremeeva notched her second double-double of the season with 11 points and 10 rebounds.
Osprey Fast Breaks
- Lauren Gross was named ASUN Freshman of the Week last week after her strong performance vs. Charleston Southern and Colorado State.
- Gross netted a season-high 17 points in 82-76 OT win over Charleston Southern and chipped in eight points in 61-59 setback at Colorado State.
- Emanuel-Wright leads the Ospreys in scoring with 11.7 points per game and is tied for second on the team with six boards per game.
- Adrienne Jackson is tallying 10.8 points per game while grabbing a team-high seven rebounds per game.
- Eremeeva and Emanuel-Wright pace North Florida with two double-doubles apiece on the season.
- UNF is shooting 41 percent from the floor, including 27.1 percent from beyond the arc and 70.5 percent from the free throw line.
I'll "Half" More of That Please
The Ospreys have started quick at UNF Arena this season, outscoring opponents by a margin of 38 points in the opening half. UNF has taken a lead into the locker room in all three games this season with the largest margin at 19 points (vs. Trinity Baptist).
Home Sweet Home
Coming to UNF Arena and leaving with a victory is becoming a tough task for opponents. The Ospreys have won four consecutive games at home, including three this season. UNF's last loss came on Feb. 17, 2018 in a 66-62 setback vs. NJIT.
Looking Ahead
North Florida continues play this weekend as the Ospreys travel to Daytona Beach to battle Bethune-Cookman on Saturday, Dec. 15 at 3 p.m.
