LAST WORD
"It was nice to finish up our non-conference portion of the schedule with a victory. It's a credit to our guys that they got through this year with more non-conference wins than last year and that's a great accomplishment with their inexperience. We are really, really blessed and it's impressive to have done some of this without Garrett (Sams), who is a key part for us. Tonight we had 23 assists on 34 buckets and that is definitely a delight for a coach. There was a lot of shots taken between the two teams tonight so proud of our guys perserverance to keep battling on the boards and working on the defensive end. We are excited and looking forward to starting conference play on Saturday." -- Head coach Matthew Driscoll
