GAME CAPSULE
First Half Trends
  • It was a slow start for both teams as it was a 7-6 USC Upstate lead by the media time out.
  • UNF then stalled as the home team went on a 9-4 run to take a 20-14 lead after one.
  • The Ospreys got back into the game with a 6-2 run that included two buckets from Tolbert, to pull within 22-20.
  • From there, the home team ballooned its lead to double figures where it stayed as it took a 39-29 lead into halftime.
  • The Spartans made three triples to the Ospreys' one and owned a 21-13 edge off the glass.

Second Half Trends
  • The teams traded baskets in the early part of the third quarter with USC Upstate still holding on to a 47-40 despite only making one basket in the frame.
  • North Florida then shut down the Spartans with a 7-0 run capped by a three-point play from Tesh Hanson to tie the game heading into the final stanza.
  • To start the fourth, each team hit two triples including an Osprey one from freshman Rhetta Moore.
