COURSE REPORT: Senior Eden Meyer bested the field by 28 seconds to earn the individual title at the UNF XC Invitational hosted by the Ospreys at the Hayt Golf Learning Center course. The North Florida women's cross country team saw four runners finish among the Top 10.

FINISH LINE
- Eden Meyer, the defending ASUNÂ XC Runner of the Year, posted a meet best mark of 17:43
- Audrey Carpenter was the Osprey's second finisher, posting a time of 19:07 to earn a 5th place finish while freshman Hannah Evans (19:34) and sophomore Skye Zeller (19:54) also tallied Top 10 marks, finishing 8th and 10th, respectively.
- Ciara Golliher, Krystal Liebenberg and Syd Steele made their UNF debuts in the race

THOUGHTS FROM THE TOP...
"Led by Senior Eden Meyer, we competed very well at home against JU and Florida in a dual scored competition. Eden is hoping to do some big things this cross country season and this was a very good start for her. Junior Audrey Carpenter had a very nice opener as well finishing just behind Eden. Audrey is on board and has worked hard to take her running to the next level. She is a good team leader and it is going to be a fun year. Freshman Hannah Evans had a good race in her college debut finishing third for the squad. Sophomore Skye Zeller, looking to make an impact this year, ran one of her best cross country races to date at UNF. We were happy to be able to get in the meet with Hurricane Irma looming. We want to give a big 'Thank You' to Ervin Lewis and his staff for helping us pull off this meet two days earlier than expected. We also really appreciate everyone who came out to support the meet." -- Head coach Jeff Pigg
