TAMPA, Fla. – The North Florida men's soccer team fell to the University of South Florida, 5-1, on Wednesday night at Corbett Stadium.
The Ospreys fell to 1-4-1 on the season, while the Bulls improved to 3-3-0 on the year.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- In the opening minutes of the game, Nunez split a few Bulls defenders and took a shot just outside the 18-yard box that was saved by the USF goalie.
- Six minutes into the match, Skublak went one-on-one with the UNF goalie.
Juanes Fajardo made the first save, but Skublak collected the loose ball and found the open net for the first goal of the game.
- The Bulls extended the lead a minute later. Farias played the ball behind the UNF defense and found Billhardt who placed the ball inside the right post.
- Rodriguez made a pass out wide to Billhardt on the right side of the field. Billhardt then crossed the ball into the middle that was headed in by Skublak from 10 yards out.
- In the final two minutes of the half,
AJ Williams had two shots that went just wide of the goal.
- Five minutes into the second half,
Josh Castellanos went one-on-one with the USF goalkeeper before Christian Knight collected the diving save.
- Billhardt sent a cross from the right side of the field into the 18-yard box that was collected and finished by Farias.
- Three minutes later, Billhardt sent a cross in from the end line. Skublak struck a volley that hit the bottom of the crossbar for the goal.
- Nunez converted a penalty kick in the 83rd minute for the Ospreys only goal of the game.

GAME NOTES
- The Ospreys held a 15-9 shots advantage in the game, while the shots on goal were even at 6-6.
- North Florida generated four corners on the night, while the Bulls took three.
- Nunez led the Ospreys with five shots, three shots on goal and a goal.
- Fajardo collected three saves in the first half, while
Tord Pedersen generated two saves in the second half for UNF.
- Nunez's goal was the first goal given up by the Bulls at home this season.
