Second Half Trends

SAY WHAT...
"Playing in a game like this in a league like ours shows you why you have to come ready to play every night. Our focus was to compete and play for 40 minutes and I thought we did that tonight. Lipscomb is a very talented group and with the way they shoot the 3-pointer they are always in a game. I thought we defended the line well forcing them to take tough shots. They were able to make 11 treys but attempted 40 for the game, which means they shot under 30 percent. We were extremely good on the glass tonight and that's something we must continue doing. I thought Dallas was really playing well and I hurt his flow by going into a bit of a protective mode in the second half and that's my fault. This was another great team effort and we got some big shots from guys especially the three-pointers that Aaron Bodager and Aaron Horne made. We continue to have those moments of growth. We just gotta keep believing." -- Head coach Matthew Driscoll
