LAST TIME OUT...
- A slow start from the Ospreys doomed them late in the game as Jacksonville grabbed the 68-58 win to open ASUN play for both teams ... Claire Ioannidis chipped in a team-high 16 points after scoring just two in the first half.
- NJIT also lost its opening ASUN game to USC Upstate, 75-58 ... Tatianna Torres led the Highlanders with 14 points, six assists, six steals and six rebounds, while two others also scored in double figures.

NOTABLE
- The seven victories in the non-conference season match last year's total wins for the season. The Ospreys finished the ASUN season 3-11 in 2016.
- This is the fifth time since joining the ASUN that North Florida starts its conference season with back-to-back road games and just second time with three straight as UNF plays at USC Upstate on Monday.
- When UNF scores 70 or more points it is 10-1 under Coach Gibbs and 6-0 this season with 70+.
- Defensively, the Ospreys have also excelled in getting blocked shots this season. They have recorded three or more blocks in nine of 16 games played this season.
- After nine consecutive double-digit scoring games to start the year, Claire Ioannidis' streak was broken at Bethune-Cookman. She now has 12 double-figure performances this season.
- North Florida is 7-0 when leading at the half and 9-1 under coach Gibbs.
-The Ospreys return 84% of their scoring from 2015-16.

AN OSPREY WIN ON SATURDAY WOULD...
- Be the 327th win in program history
- Be Head Coach Gibbs 15th win
- Be the 4th straight against NJIT
- Match last season's road win total
- Be the first time since 2012 that UNF was 1-1 after two ASUN games

ON THIS DAY
January 14 has not been kind to North Florida as it owns a 1-8 record on this date. The last time UNF played, Jan. 14, 2015, at FGCU, the Eagles won 75-42.

LAST TIME VS THE HIGHLANDERS
North Florida tossed up 12 three points against NJIT last season in a game that was moved up a day due to an impending blizzard. Ioannidis finished with 25 points with six triples.

LONG RANGE STREAKING
The Ospreys have made at least one 3-pointer in 48 consecutive games dating back to 2/25/15 when FGCU held them without a longball (0-8).

IOANNIDIS FOR THREE!
Senior CLAIRE IOANNIDIS has made 41 triples so far this season to rank 43rd in the NCAA. She is tied with her total from last year after 16 games.

4th QUARTER STRENGTH
For the second time this season, UNF scored 25 points in the final frame as the Ospreys outscored JU, 25-19, on Saturday. The first time, UNF won the game vs. Nicholls State (Nov. 26)

GET THE DISHES
Junior Sierra Shepherd's 59 total assists are third in the ASUN this season. The Jacksonville, Fla. native has dished out multiple dimes in 14 of 16 games played so far this season.
