Match Summary
After being held scoreless in both matches last week, the Ospreys scored two goals just 2:02 apart beginning in the 22nd minute. Solstad recorded his first goal of the season when he headed an Adrian Nunez corner kick service into the back of the net. Minutes later it was Solstad on the distributing end when he fed Cormac Begley on a long, curling shot from outside the box. The score for Begley was the first of his collegiate career. The Ospreys took a 2-0 lead into the halftime break. The Knights got on the scoreboard 15 minutes into the second half on Richard Amon's third goal of the season. Goalkeeper Juanes Fajardo made two second half saves and multiple plays on the ball to squander any further Knight scoring opportunities.

From Coach Marinatos
On the victory:
"I thought it was a great response after the two tough road losses last week. I like how were were disciplined and we really were able to maintain the majority of the possession throughout the night. We had guys come off the bench and give us quality minutes and I think in the end we earned the result."

On the two goals:
"I was very pleased with the patience and possession in the attacking half. Because of that, we were able to score two great goals."

Up Next: The Ospreys will put a bow on the their longest road stint of the season on Saturday with a match in Statesboro, Ga. against Georgia Southern at 7:00 p.m.
