@OspreyWBB Heads to Conference Leader FGCU on Saturday

FORT MYERS, Fla. - North Florida women's basketball opens the second half of conference action on the road against conference-leading FGCU on Saturday at 4 p.m. at Alico Arena. The Ospreys and Eagles faced off a week ago with FGCU taking a 65-39 win.

PERFECTO!
Freshman Hadley Kiefer was perfect from long range on Thursday against Stetson. She went 6-for-6 which is the Division I school record and was just one long-ball shy of matching the school record for threes in a game.

DEJA VU
If it seems like UNF just played FGCU - you are right. The two teams faced off a week ago in Jacksonville. The Ospreys will also host Stetson within six days on Wednesday, Feb. 10.

Junior Claire Ioannidis ranks 17th in the country with 61 three-point baskets made. She is also 16th in 3PT FG attempts.

The Ospreys recorded back-to-back conference victories for the first time since the 2012-13 season against Lipscomb and NJIT.

Junior transfer Claire Ioannidis is now third in all-time UNF single-season records. Jadhken Kerr holds the record with 80 makes.

North Florida facess off with Stetson for the second time in less than a week. The Hatters come to Jacksonville on Wednesday, Feb. 10. The game will feature a Pink Theme and proceeds of shirts sold will go to the Kay Yow Foundation.
