GAME CAPSULE
First Half Trends
- FIU opened the game with an 8-2 run that seemed to set the tone for the evening.
- Minutes later, the Panthers seized the momentum thanks to a 14-0 surge that saw the Ospreys go scoreless for over 5 minutes of play.
- North Florida got back-to-back treys from Aaron Bodager and Chris Davenport to halt the scoring drought and lessen the margin
- FIU followed with another double-digit scoring run (11-0) to build a 41-19 lead with 2:24 left in the half.
- Ospreys closed the half on a 7-2 rally, cutting the deficit to 43-26 at the halftime break.
- Panthers shot 52% from the floor and held a 23-13 edge in rebounding over the first 20 minutes of the game.
- For UNF, 6 of 9 FGM were from beyond the arc... Dallas Moore struggled offensively going 2-8 (0-5 3PT).

Second Half Trends
- Teams would trade baskets for several minutes to open the second half.
- A 7-2 surge pulled the Ospreys to within 15 (55-40) with 12:18 remaining on the clock.
- FIU responded with 12 straight points to end the UNF rally and put the game away as UNF was never able to get the deficit below 20 points the rest of the way.

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
- 54 points for UNF matched the season low set against CSU Bakersfield
- Dallas Moore went scoreless from beyond the 3-point line (0-6) for the first time all season and his 11-point effort marked his second lowest output of the year
- Chris Davenport made his return to the UNF lineup finishing with 8 pts (2 3PM), 3 rebs, 1 blk and 1 stl in 21 minutes

SAY WHAT...
"We have grown a lot as a team but for some reason we did not play well tonight. We had way too many empty possessions on the offensive end and that really put a tremendous amount of pressure on our defense. We also still have too many unforced turnovers. We need for other players to find a way of scoring consistently and get into an offensive flow. Give FIU credit for just coming at us the entire game and taking advantage of second chance points. We will use this break to get rested and refocused and prepare for our next game." -- Head coach Matthew Driscoll

NEXT UP
- Following a break from competition for the Christmas Holiday, North Florida returns to action on Dec. 29 in UNF Arena by hosting Ball State.
