- North Florida started off sluggish against Bethune-Cookman and never really recovered as the Wildcats grabbed a 52-50 victory ... Simone Brown scored a game-high 22 points.
- Florida State is coming off of a nine-day break due to finals. Before the break, FSU defeated UAB 93-47 on the Blazers' home floor.

- This is the 6th meeting between the two teams and fourth straight meeting.
- FSU was ranked 14th when the teams met last season and allowed just 28 points from UNF. Hadley Kiefer led all scorers with eight.
