OPENING TIP
- Moore finished the game 12-21 (.571) from the floor including making his career high 6 treys in 12 attempts (.500). It was the second 30-point game of the season for Moore and the fifth of this career. He was the lone Osprey in double digits and accounted for over half (.516) of the team's total point output.
- Moore scored UNF's first 12 points of the game and finished with 15 of the team's 25 in the first half. He also connected on back-to-back treys to open the second half allowing North Florida to cut into the Gator advantage.
- Florida shot 58 percent from the floor the game including making 9 of 19 three-point attempts. Four Gators reached double digits led by 16 points from Chris Chiozza including a trio of three-pointers and nine assists.
- Romelo Banks scored seven points for UNF before getting hit in the eye early in the second half and missing the remainder of the game.
- Turnovers again hurt the Ospreys as the squad committed 20 miscues that resulted in 38 points for Florida

GAME TRENDS
-  Both teams struggled to find an offensive flow early as the pair combined for just eight points over the opening five minutes of play. The Gators opened things up midway through the period using a 9-0 spurt to move a 12-9 lead up to 21-9 with 9:40 remaining in the half.
- UNF fought back and trailed 29-20 following a jumper by Garrett Sams with 4:31 left, but UF scored the next six points to push their lead back to double digits. Florida held a 20-point edge at the break, 45-25.
- The Ospreys opened the second half with eight consecutive points featuring back-to-back treys by Moore and a jump hook from Banks. The surge trimmed the Gator margin to 12 points, 45-33, just over a minute into play and drew a timeout by UF.
- Florida subbed in five players at the timeout and the reserves preceded to rally the Gators, sparking a 17-7 run that extended the lead to 62-40 at the 11:46 mark.
- UF would maintain a 20-point margin the remainder of the contest

INSIDE THE BOXSCORE
- Dallas Moore was responsible for all 6 3PM by the Ospreys
- Moore became just the 17th player in ASUN history to surpass 1,800 career points (1,809)
- Ospreys slip to 0-18 all-time against teams from the SEC

SAY WHAT...
"Gotta give our guys credit for battling back after getting hit pretty hard in the first half. Dallas (Moore) was obviously one of the best players on the floor and that's why the NBA scouts were here tonight. We were fortunate to get some turnovers and turn them into easy baskets which is difficult to do when you have two assists and 20 turnovers of your own. It was nice to see us be able to get stops during that stretch and cut the lead to 12. Give Coach White credit for pulling a "Dean Smith' by putting five guys in that didn't play very much and they scored 51 points as a bench. When you have team that is in the Top 25 and they ability to get that production from their bench it makes it extremely difficult to play against them. Dallas is a special talent and I don't know if we will have another one around here like him. I hope we do though because it makes my job easier for sure." -- Head coach Matthew Driscoll
