HOW IT HAPPENED
The home team raced out to a 12-6 lead to force a UNF timeouut. Out of the break, freshman Taryn Griffey smacked down a kill, ut it was a short lived momentum as the Bisons went on a 8-4 run to lead 20-12. The Ospreys got two more kills from O'Connell and Katarina Raicevic but it was not enough as Lipscomb took the final three points of the set to win 25-15.

A 5-0 run to kick off the second set was all the Bisons needed to push the momentum in their favor for the match. North Florida pulled within 10-8 on a Lipscomb error, but it did not stop the home team. Late in the set, the Ospreys rattled off three straight points at set point to force Lipscomb to call a timeout. Out of the break, the Bisons' leading hitter, Carlyle Nausbaum knocked down one of her 24 kills.

North Florida played tight with the Bisons knotting the score at 7-all in the early goings of the final frame. A 12-1 run gave Lipscomb a lead it never gave up. UNF had one final kill down the stretch.
