HOW IT HAPPENED
The opening set was knotted at 10-all before the Ospreys went ahead on a kill from freshman Gabby O'Connell and never looked back. North Florida was able to take its biggest lead of the frame at 22-17 on a bad set from Stetson and despite the Hatters wittling down the advantage to two on back-to-back points, UNF held on to take the win.

Stetson had a strong showing in the second frame and knotted the score at 1-1 as it only allowed UNF to hit .182, a match low. The hosts used a 5-0 run late in the set to secure the 25-19 victory. After the intermission, North Florida came out ready to play. A 6-0 run in the early goings to give the Ospreys a 13-10 lead. The teams then traded points and met at 19-19 for the final tie of the set. Stetson stayed closed, but North Florida took the 2-1 lead with four straight points down the stretch.

In the final set, the Ospreys responded after being down 5-0 at the start to tying the game nine times until 15-all. The Hatters recorded three straight errors to put the visitors out front where they remained for the match. A final kill from Katarina Raicevic closed out the match with the 25-21 win.
