Ospreys take on 8-1 Crimson Tide on Monday

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. - The North Florida women's basketball has a quick turnaround as it prepares for Alabama on Monday at 12:30 p.m. at Coleman Coliseum. The Ospreys are coming off a record-setting 97-30 victory against Trinity Baptist on Saturday.

Scouting the TIDE: Alabama is currently 8-1 on the season and outscoring opponents by 25 points. Four players average double figures with Hannah Cook leading the way with 13.9ppg. She also tops the team in rebounds, pulling down 7.0 per contest. Cook is a threat from the outside. The Tide slo played Georgia State and walked away with a 72-56 victory at home.

SEEING DOUBLE: Senior Kadesia Johnson had back-to-back double-doubles versus Trinity Baptist and at Georgia State. She had a career-best 14 boards vs. TBC.

HELPING OUT: Sophomore SIERRA SHEPHERD is just one assist away from matching her freshman season performance. With 35, she leads the team in assists.

NEW SEASON, NEW STATS: Junior TARU MADEKIVI had just 13 points as a sophomore and bested that in just one performance against Webber International with 14 points. She now has a career-high of 19 points vs. Trinity Baptist.

TOP 30: The Ospreys are ranked nationall in the top 30 in three categories: 3Pt FG Att. (24th), 3Pt FGM (20th) and 3PT FG/G (26th).

HOME SWEET HOME: The Ospreys play four of their next five games at home. Alabama is their only road trip until 2016 when they head to Mercer (Jan. 2).

RECORD SETTING SATURDAY: The Ospreys set a school record with 61 rebounds and 97 total points against Trinity Baptist. The previous D-1 era (2005-present) mark of 91 points was against USC Upstate on Jan. 15, 2011, while 59 boards was the previous record vs. Western Carolina (12/21/14)
