Final Boxscore (pdf)

WEST HARTFORD, Conn. -- North Florida placed five players in double digits led by 20 points from junior Chris Davenport as the Ospreys dominated St. Francis for a 78-65 victory Saturday night in the final game of their four-game road trip.

The Ospreys improve to 5-2 after earning the weekend sweep in the Brooklyn Hoops Holiday Invitational. Davenport stuffed the stat sheet in the game also handing out seven assists, grabbing five rebounds and blocking three shots. As a team, UNF finished with 12 three-pointers marking the fifth double-figure total of the season while also shooting over 50 percent from the field and beyond the arc.

"I thought the guys did a tremendous job of handling this quick turnaround," said head coach Matthew Driscoll. "We were locked in early and did a great job defensively especially in the first half. The guys did a great job of moving the ball and our shooters were able to knock down the open shots. It is nice to pick up another win on the road and we are looking forward to being home for our next game."

Dallas Moore made a team-leading four treys on the night in scoring 16 points while Beau Beech finished with 13 followed by 12 from Trent Mackey and 11 for Demarcus Daniels.

After trading baskets early in the opening half, North Florida broke things open with a 17-3 run and never looked back maintaining a double-digit lead the remainder of the game.

North Florida returns home to face Trinity Baptist on Monday at 7 p.m. before playing another pair of games on the road next week. The Ospreys will be presented with their 2015 Atlantic Sun Championship rings in a pregame ceremony.
