JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – University of North Florida women's basketball concludes a three-game homestand on Saturday when the Ospreys host Lipscomb at 2 p.m., at UNF Arena. The game will air live on ESPN3 with Brent Martineau and Jessica Blaylock on the call.

"Saturday will be another opportunity for our team to continue to progress and compete against a fundamentally sound team that has great three-point shooters," said head coach Mary Tappmeyer. "Lipscomb is playing very well and with a lot of confidence. We will have to be very discipline defensively and know our personnel. We are looking forward playing this tough game in front of our fans."

Thursday night was the fifth game for UNF this season that has come down to the closing five seconds.

Just a Little Close: Four of UNF's six games in January have been decided by two points or less.

Clutch Points From Smith: In the five games that have come down to the last five seconds, Destinee Smith has hit the ultimate game-winning play in three of those games. She nailed a buzzer-beating three at Tennessee State on Dec. 6, converted on a three-point play with 2.9 seconds to go against Mercer and then had the game-winning trey at 4.4 seconds left in double overtime against Northern Kentucky.

Going Over 80: The Ospreys' 81 points on Thursday night were their most since scoring a program Division I-era record 91 points against USC Upstate on Jan. 15, 2011. Additionally, it was just the third time in UNF's Division I history in which the Ospreys had an 80-point game.

Cleaning The Glass: Paulina Zaveckaite has double-digit rebounds in 12 of UNF's 19 games. She leads the Atlantic Sun with an overall 11.1 rebounds per game and 11.8 rebounds per game in conference-only games. Entering Saturday, she is the only Atlantic Sun player averaging double-digit boards in conference games.

Scouting Lipscomb: Enters Saturday with a 7-11 overall record and 2-2 in Atlantic Sun play… on a two-game winning streak and comes off a 75-63 win at Jacksonville on Thursday… has scored 70+ points in four of last five contests and is averaging 73.0 points against A-Sun opponents… one of the Atlantic Sun's top free throw shooting teams, going 74.0 percent (191-for-258) from the line… Ashley Southern is averaging a team-best 14.3 points and 9.0 rebounds per game… Danay Fothergill, who is averaging 12.3 points for the season, has a 19.0 point-per-game average against Atlantic Sun opponents.

UNF-Lipscomb Series: UNF leads the all-time series with Lipscomb 14-3… last year's series was a split with each team winning at home… UNF won 78-66 on Jan. 18, but Lipscomb had an 84-76 win on Feb. 15.
