The Ospreys' offensive attack overshadowed a stellar performance on the mound. Three UNF pitchers combined to allow one unearned run.

Tommy Organ started the game and worked 6.2 scoreless innings. The senior hurler scattered three hits in his outing without allowing a base runner to reach second base. Organ did not issue a free pass and struck out four batters. He faced just two batters over the minimum and recorded five 1-2-3 innings.

North Florida was the first to scratch the scoreboard, plating a run in the second inning. Roberson led off the inning with a solo home run to center field. The home run was Roberson's third of the season and the ninth home run of the junior's career.

Leading 1-0, the Ospreys broke the game open with four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. With one out, Corey Bass singled to third base and Wielbruda followed with a single to the shortstop. P.
