All three games will serve Faculty/Staff Appreciation games. The North Florida Athletic Department would like to extend its FREE admission to all faculty and staff through the weekend series with Jacksonville. University employees will receive one free admission to Friday and Saturday's matchup against cross-town rival JU with a valid ID.
Saturday will still serve as Senior Day for the Ospreys five seniors – T.J. Gavlik, Chandler Jagodzinski, Andrew Karmeris, Evan Stermer and Michael Wesner – with festivities taking place prior to first pitch. In addition, the first 200 fans for Saturday's game will receive ice cream served in a North Florida souvenir batting helmet.
The three games against JU will count towards the final SunTrust River City Rumble standings. Earlier this year, the North Florida men's golf team secured the Old Wooden Barrel for the Ospreys with their victory in the Atlantic Sun Championship. UNF claimed the Barrel during the 2006-07 season, defeating JU 11-9. The Ospreys retained the Barrel in 2007-08 as the two teams tied 10-10 in the standings. This season, North Florida currently leads 11-6 in the overall standings.
