DeLAND, Fla. – The University of North Florida men's tennis team fell, 6-1 at Atlantic Sun foe Stetson on Saturday afternoon in DeLand, Fla.

Junior Hleb Maslau picked up the point for the Ospreys (8-4, 1-1 A-Sun) with a hard-fought three set decision. Maslau fell behind 4-6 in the first set before rallying back to take the next two sets, 6-4 and 7-5.

Freshman Daniel Sotomarino played a close match with Cesare Gallo in the No. 4, before falling 7-5, 6-4.

The Hatters, who returned three A-Sun All-Freshman team members from 2009 and were picked to finish second in the 2010 A-Sun preseason poll, clinched the doubles point early by sweeping all three matches.

UNF will return to the court on Tuesday March 9 in the first game of a four game home stand. The Ospreys will host Appalachian State at 8 a.m. followed by Eastern Kentucky at 2 p.m. on Tuesday.
