JACKSONVILLE, Fla.- With Sunday's matches being the final ones of the regular season, the University of North Florida men' s and women's tennis teams were probably wishing for better results that what they got.

The No. 9 Lady Ospreys were denied a share of the Peach Belt Conference title with Armstrong Atlantic State, as the No. 2 Lady Pirates capped off a perfect 21-0 season, defeating UNF 7-2. The loss drops North Florida into second place in the PBC with a 15- 5 overall mark, and an 8-2 conference record.

The men's team had a chance to seal the No. 2 spot in the PBC tournament with a victory, but were upset by the No. 13 Pirates 6-3. The No. 5 Ospreys will finish the regular season with a 6-2 conference record, and 16-5 overall.

Both teams will next be in action during the Peach Belt Conference Tournament, being held in Spartanburg, S.C.

The PBC Tournament will run from April 13-16 with times and seeds to be announced.
