WINTER PARK, Fla. (Feb. 18, 2005)- The University of North Florida women's tennis team took down another ranked opponent on Friday, defeating No. 17 Nova Southeastern 7-2 at Rollins College. This marks the second ranked team North Florida has defeated in less than a week, as they were victorious against No. 3 Lynn on Feb. 13.
The win improves the No. 7 Lady Ospreys to 4-0 on the season.
"We were ready to go. We came out prepared and defeated a good team," head coach Tom Schrader said.
UNF will next take the court on Feb. 20 when it opens Peach Belt Conference play against Francis Marion at 10 a.m. at UNF Tennis Courts.
