- President of the Osprey Club, 1984-85
- The Dottie Dorion Fitness Center is named in her honor on the UNF Campus
- stablished the Dorothy Dorion Endowed Athletic Scholarship
- Established the Lisanne Dorion Endowed Athletic Scholarship
- Has contributed to the corpus of numerous other endowed athletic scholarships
- Was instrumental in the development and construction of the UNF Tennis Complex, the first athletic facility on campus
- Honorary UNF Athletics letterwinner
- Helped set the standard for excellence in UNF Athletics
