
Jenkins Named ASun Player of the Week

MACON, Ga. -- North Florida middle blocker Carolyn Jenkins was named the Atlantic Sun Conference Volleyball Player of the Week as announced Monday by the league office.
Jenkins, a junior from Red Bluff, Calif., sparked the Ospreys to a come-from-behind five set victory over crosstown rival Jacksonville.
Against the Dolphins, Jenkins led the way with 14 kills and five blocks. In the final three sets, Jenkins collected 10 kills with just one error.
Jenkins and the rest of her UNF teammates conclude regular season play with a pair of home matches this weekend against Florida Gulf Coast (Friday) and Stetson (Saturday). North Florida is battling for a spot in the upcoming Atlantic Sun Tournament.
